From November 6 to 8, the Gastromic Forum Barcelona was held, a meeting point for more than 18,500 professionals, restaurateurs, buyers and distributors in the foodservice sector. The fair has increased its attendance by 20% and focused its message on the importance of biodiversity in the kitchen, with the participation of more than 200 experts and 55 Michelin Stars.
But aside from the spectacularity of the data, the gastronomic event has also positioned itself in the fight against food waste, and will donate to the Food Bank Foundation the nearly 2,000 kg of leftover food from the salon, which it will distribute among its users.
